Effective January 1, 2019, we will have price increases on many of our products. This is due to the natural flow of business along with the fact that we have been so reluctant to increase prices in the past.

Some prices will remain the same, others will go up a little. We have worked hard to ensure that very few (and none of the higher volume items) will go up a lot.

Alexandra Logan is our new Production and Repair Technician.

Her attention to detail comes from a background in art.

Alex’s experience in LDARtools so far is very positive: “I love it. I like the positive reassurance as not all work environments make this a priority,” she says. “I want to continue working together with our team towards a common goal and eventually playing a bigger role in the success of the company.”

Raising her son is her biggest project and greatest accomplishment. “He is my pride and joy and my driving force to be the best I can be. He has motivated me to remain positive and become successful despite the odds life throws at us.”

On the weekends, Alex loves to draw and paint. She also enjoys working on her truck, going to the beach and spending time with her family.

c2 (Bluetooth Device for TVA1000b) Being Discontinued. Supplies are limited.

• The TVA1000b has been discontinued for several years. As such, there is no ready application for the c2.
• We have placed our last order. 
• We will continue to honor our current 1-year warranty on all new units purchased.
• Effective January 1, 2019, we will no longer offer the repair and replace option. The price for a new unit will be raised to $2,500.

Repair Services Ending for the Original Archer Field PC (Archer 1)

• Effective January 1, 2019, Juniper Systems will no longer be offering repair services on the original Archer Field PC.
• All Archers needing repairs must be sent in prior to this date. 
• You may upgrade to the Archer 2 or Mesa 2 Rugged Tablet, by contacting sales@ldartools.com.

Repair Services Ending for SpanBox3 with embedded Archer 1

• Beginning January 1, 2019, LDARtools will no longer be able to guarantee a repair of your Spanbox3 if it has an embedded Archer 1. We WILL be able to continue repairs on the units as long as the Archer is not the malfunctioning part.
• Limited parts are available for SpanBox3 with a flat screen.
• You may upgrade to a SpanBox5x series, by contacting sales@ldartools.com.

 

Austin Regan is our Technology Specialist.

Formerly a legal assistant at a law firm in Abilene, TX, he was looking for something different and he found it at LDARtools. “I enjoy the atmosphere at LDARtools. Everyone is friendly and supportive. [My coworkers] are willing to take time to help out in any problems that arise,” he says. “It’s very efficient and relaxed.”

On the weekends, Austin enjoys traveling around or just chilling at home. These days if asked what he’s working on: “I’m brewing beer with my brothers,” says Austin.
